Aid for Ukraine: Thank You!!! Dyakuyu!!!
The response was overwhelming to last weekend’s collection of financial aid and humanitarian aid for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. THANK YOU!!! And in the Ukrainian language: Dyakuyu!!! Over $22,000 was received in the special second collection and through checks that were mailed to the parish business office. Over 75 boxes (of the large, heavy duty moving company variety) were compiled containing the donations of medical supplies, diapers, shirts, socks, hygiene products, backpacks, first aid kits, a few teddy bears, and numerous other items. Special thanks to the Lowy’s Moving Service, the Paul David Party Rentals Company, Monmouth Medical Center, and anonymous others for their products and services and financial support and to the St. Michael’s staff and volunteers for their efforts. The financial aid and supplies are on their way to Ukraine via reliable and speedy channels of St. Stephen’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Toms River and the Archbishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia. With prayers of gratitude for all donors and all donations! And with prayers for peace in Ukraine! St. Michael, St. Stephen, and Our Lady Queen of Peace, PRAY FOR US!
